What lip flip actually does
A few units of the same neurotoxin used on forehead lines, injected into the upper lip. It relaxes the muscle that purses the lip, so instead of curling under when you smile, the lip rolls slightly outward and shows more of itself. Nothing is added — the lip is not bigger, it is just doing less hiding. That is why it costs $75 rather than $299, and why it wears off in weeks rather than months.
What happens at your appointment
Look
We watch you smile and talk. The flip suits some mouths and not others, and that is visible in about thirty seconds.
Mark
Two to four tiny points along the top lip, just above the border.
Inject
A few seconds each. Most people describe it as a pinch, and it is over before the numbing would have worked.
Wait
Nothing happens today. The muscle relaxes over three to seven days.

Lip Flip FAQs
No. It is the same neurotoxin as a forehead treatment, in a much smaller dose, and it adds no volume at all. If you want your lips to be bigger, you want filler — this makes the lip you have show more of itself.
It is a tiny dose in a muscle you use constantly — eating, talking, drinking. That muscle recovers faster than a forehead does. It is the honest trade for $75.
Occasionally, for a week or two, and only if the dose is a little generous. Tell us if that would be a problem and we will start lower.
Yes, in the same appointment, and it is a common pairing. The flip handles the shape, the filler handles the volume.
