Semaglutide vs Tirzepatide vs Retatrutide
- Semaglutide (GLP-1): Proven weekly med that curbs appetite and slows gastric emptying to help you feel full on fewer calories.
- Tirzepatide (GLP-1 + GIP): Dual-action; many patients experience faster appetite control and metabolic improvements at similar doses.
- Retatrutide (multi-receptor): Next-gen option acting on more pathways for appetite and energy balance; eligibility and dosing are customized by our providers.
- How they’re similar: Once-weekly subcutaneous injections, gradual dose titration, work best with nutrition & movement coaching, common temporary effects like nausea or constipation.
- How they differ: Receptor targets, speed of response, and side-effect profile. We’ll choose the fit based on your history, goals, and budget.

How to Self-Inject (Weekly at Home)
- Store your month’s supply: We send pre-drawn syringes. Keep refrigerated per label; do not freeze or shake. Keep out of reach of children.
- Pick the site: Abdomen (≥2" from navel), front thigh, or back of upper arm (with help). Rotate sites weekly to reduce irritation.
- Prep the skin: Wash hands. Clean the site with an alcohol swab and let it fully dry.
- Inject: Pinch a 1" fold of skin. Insert the small needle at 90° into the subcutaneous tissue. Push the plunger steadily until empty; count to 5 and withdraw.
- Aftercare: Apply gentle pressure with gauze if needed—don’t rub. Dispose of the entire syringe in a FDA-cleared sharps container.
- Missed dose: Follow your provider’s timing rules for your medication. Do not double up. If unsure, contact the clinic before injecting.
- When to call us urgently: Severe abdominal pain, persistent vomiting, rash/shortness of breath, or injection-site spreading redness/warmth.
Use only as instructed by your clinician. Your visit includes hands-on teaching before you take your first home dose.

Weight Loss Medication FAQs
Most people feel reduced appetite within the first 1–2 weeks as we titrate. Visible weight change typically builds over 4–8+ weeks with consistent lifestyle support.
Nausea, constipation, reflux, or fatigue, usually mild and transient. We use gradual dose increases and coaching (hydration, protein goals, fiber) to minimize these.
We’ll give you a simple plan: prioritize protein, fiber, and hydration. The medications help with appetite; your habits drive sustainable fat loss.
Typically once weekly. Length of therapy varies by goals and response; many remain on a stable maintenance dose after reaching their target.
Yes—pack them in a cooler pouch with ice packs if needed and keep labels/paperwork handy. Do not freeze. Carry on rather than checking when flying.
